Oh my goodness! What a ball! - some of the best big-band sounds I've heard in years... 
Dennis Noday's new band is 'Smokin' hot; I'll get a personnel list next time around;
stay tuned; also I should have all the info on the December concert including 
box office phone numbers, etc. This is gonna be a fun show!

Plans are finalizing for Dennis Noday's band to get back into rehearsal this week 
for the December gig in Boca; he's rehearsing at Bobby Rodrigues' studio which 
is pretty convenient for everybody; I just finished printing out & taping up 
some of the new charts for his gig; they look pretty cool and I think the band 
will dig playing them. I'll let you know after the rehearsal...

Carlos Pinera's L.F.O. Big Band has been getting great crowds up at the Broward 
Center; the folks love the shows, the food is good and the band has been a big 
success there. Check them out;  the third Sunday of every month, from 6 to 9pm
 in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Note: Jazz tenor Rob Ercolano is out for a while with a broken hip! (OUCH!) 
Hope you feel better soon, Rob! (I knew those things (motorcycles) 
were dangerous!!!)
